A 1990s two-piece bridal set in pure ivory silk, with a lace-up corset and beautifully full separate skirt.
The corset is finely pintucked through the body, with a softly gathered neckline, lace-up front and elongated point at the waist. Tiny covered buttons trace the back, leading to an oversized silk bow, finished with a rosette at the centre and long trailing ribbons.
The separate silk skirt sits slightly higher at the front before falling longer and fuller through the back, with layers of tulle underneath creating all that volume. There’s something about the fitted, pointed corset against all that ivory silk that feels straight from a early 90s bridal editorial.
