c. 1920s Wax Blossom & Lace Juliet Cap Veil
A beautiful 1920s bridal veil with a close-fitting lace Juliet cap, original wax orange blossoms and long lengths of soft ivory tulle.
The cap is worked in delicate floral lace, with tiny faux pearls following the scalloped edge and clusters of wax orange blossom sitting at either side. The tulle gathers into the sides of the cap before falling long and softly behind, with the lace, pearls and little wax flowers all carrying the lovely warmth and patina of their age.

Beautiful antique condition overall. Now around 100 years old, it is a beautiful surviving piece of 1920s bridal. There is some loss to the original tulle along one side of the veil. It was sourced in this condition and has been left unaltered to preserve the original fabric, with the option to have it shortened to an even hem if desired by the new owner.
There is a couple of small holes within the lace cap, along with gentle age-related wear throughout. These areas are discreet when worn and do not detract from the overall beauty of the veil. The pearl detailing and wax orange blossoms remain beautifully in place.
CARE
As expected of a veil of this age, the tulle, lace and detailing are particularly delicate and should be handled with care. After shipping, allow the veil to settle naturally and avoid ironing, direct heat or steaming.
For storage, keep laid flat or loosely folded with acid-free tissue, somewhere cool, dry and away from direct sunlight.
