c. 1960s Ivory Floral Bridal Gown with Statement Back Bow
A 1960s ivory wedding gown in a weighty tonal floral fabric, cut with a high neckline, long sleeves and a beautifully full skirt.
The floral pattern is woven into the fabric itself, disappearing into the ivory from a distance and revealing so much more up close. There’s a lovely weight to the gown, particularly through the skirt, which falls full from the waist and holds its shape beautifully.
A huge bow sits at the back, with two long ties falling almost the entire length of the skirt. Against such a simple silhouette, it’s kind of perfect.

CONDITION
We take a lot of care with the condition of our vintage pieces. Each garment is cleaned, revived and carefully inspected, but vintage will naturally show signs of age and previous wear. With that in mind, please review the condition notes below:
Beautifully preserved, with gentle age related wear and fraying at the arm seams.
CARE
Your piece has been carefully cleaned and will arrive ready to wear. After shipping, it may just need a light steam to release any wrinkles. Use only distilled water on the lowest setting and from a distance, placing a clean white cloth between the steamer and the garment to help protect delicate fabrics from water marks.
For storage, keep your piece somewhere cool, dry and away from direct sunlight, ideally in a breathable garment bag where appropriate.
For any future cleaning or restoration, we recommend taking it to a professional who is experienced with vintage and delicate fabrics. A little care goes a long way in keeping your piece beautiful for years to come.
