A rare 1980 ivory nightgown and peignoir set, with both original pieces still together.
The nightgown has a soft satin bodice with tiny straps and delicate lace appliqué around the neckline, dotted with tiny pearls. The bodice falls into a deep pointed dropped waist, with layers of sheer ivory fabric spilling softly from the hips.
The matching peignoir is something else. Almost completely sheer, with an open front, huge cascading sleeves and pearled lace appliqué scattered across the shoulders.
