CONDITION

We take a lot of care with the condition of our vintage pieces. Each garment is carefully prepared for sale and inspected, but vintage will naturally show signs of age and previous wear. With that in mind, please review the condition notes below:

Now approaching 100 years old, it is a beautiful surviving piece of early bridal. The cap and its original detailing remain beautifully preserved with a few tiny-aged related holes and one small netting repair.

CARE

As expected of a veil of this age, the tulle, lace and detailing are particularly delicate and should be handled with care. After shipping, allow the veil to settle naturally and avoid ironing, direct heat or steaming.

For storage, keep laid flat or loosely folded with acid-free tissue, somewhere cool, dry and away from direct sunlight.

For any future cleaning or restoration, we recommend taking it to a professional experienced with antique textile and delicate bridal pieces. A little care goes a long way in keeping your piece beautiful for years to come.
